Welcome to Camp Patriot Animal Rescue & Sanctuary, founded by Nick Jongebloed and Tara Ballard. We are a mission-driven 501(c)(3) organization (EIN 33-1734970).
Currently, we provide care for dogs, cats, pigs, goats, and chickens. Our sanctuary offers both foster care and permanent sanctuary for animals requiring long-term support.

Rehabilitation
Camp Patriot Animal Rescue & Sanctuary works in formal partnership with Heart of the Foothills Animal Rescue and, by extension, Rutherford County Animal Services. CPARS supports county shelter operations by providing food-security resources, large-breed rehabilitation through Purposeful Paws, and emergency intake capacity during high-demand periods.
This collaboration strengthens the entire county’s animal-welfare system and expands lifesaving impact across multiple rural communities.

ARFSS: ANIMAL RESCUE FOOD SUPPLY SOLUTION
We serve as a distribution hub assisting under-resourced rescues, shelters, and pet owners throughout western North Carolina.
